New weekend of tastings and introducing BERNAVÍ ... always a pleasure to participate!

On Thursday 13th March, we were guests at Jordi's home in Tortosa, at VINOTECA TANINS to present our project and our wines as part of the wonderful initiative by Jordi "monographic tasting of DO Terra Alta". With a perfect setting and with the local full, we told our story, our philosophy and our passion and we tasted the whole range of BERNAVÍ wines.We strongly invite you to go and visit Jordi and Pili at Vinoteca Tanins: you will find friends, a great setting and suggestions for interesting wines and tapas ... and the selection of our wines for tasting and purchase!

Saturday, March 15th we were invited to the presentation of the book "Bienvenid@ al campo" in La Fatarella, at Fundació El Solà. We found friends and followed Alba and Ramiro's words: great comunicators and fans of rural world. At the end of the presentation of the book we explained BERNAVÍ project as a practical and direct case of agricultural entrepreneurship in the area. Later, such as a logical pairing, we tasted our 3D3 2012, a wine which want to be a fusion and a synergy between three grape varieties and three persons, where we look for land expression and want to respect it in every wine composing 3D3... in line with Ramiro's vision about the future of the return to the origins and respect of rural areas.

We ended this week pairing our wines ... and it was a great success!

In Barcelona , on Thursday March 6th , we were guests of Lautrec Restaurant in Gracia: with Cris and Xavier we offered to costumers and friends a tasting menu with three fo BERNaví's wines, presenting our project, our philosophy and playing with sensations: from affinities to the surprises delighting palates.
Kitchen chosed the highest quality ingredients to create dishes in perfect harmony with NOTTE BIANCA 2013, 3D3 2012, CA'VERNET 2011 ... a perfect and friendly service, a very nice atmosphere: thanks guys for the great experience!
We strongly advise you to go and try the original and genuine Lautrec's cuisine ... along with BERNAVÍ in their wine-list!


Saturday March 8th we spent the day with a great family in Amettla de Mar at El Nostre Cantir: a farm five minutes from the sea, surrounded by Mediterranean countryside where Carme, Paco, Angela and Francesc welcomed customers and friends in their paradise.
A sunny spring day, trees and orchard in full bloom, a museum of antiquities , animals, were the frame for a fantastic day.
We delighted guests with dishes made with healthy ingredients and traditional recipes, paired with the four BERNAVÍ's wines: we played with sensations and enjoyed a wonderful company.
It was a great pleasure to begin this partnership with El Nostre Cantir family and we recommend you to go to spend a holiday with them ... sure that you will fall in love with the place and people, and that you will enjoy with their cuisine and wines.


Two opportunities to communicate with our wines paired with different conception dishes all BERNAVÍ passion for gastronomy and happy convivium!

We also were lucky enough to face the media again so soon and during a meeting about tourism in Terra Alta, we recorded a radio interview on Catalunya Infrmació: together with Josep Maria from Nou Moderno, where we explained our vision about wine tourism and we promoted the exciting and upcoming activities that BERNAVÍ will do in the near future.

By the end of the week we celebrated the Summer Solstice with an event that was incredible! With Maria Rosa and Josep Maria from Nou Moderno, we organized a tasting of our wines paired with some unusual sweet whims! We did it by night, with the light of the fires and the moon full of positive energy, in the yard of our winery, surrounded by vineyards and accompanied by a fantastic line-up of Jazz music. Xavi, Josep Enric, Laura, Imma and Rafa played in perfect harmony letting the fires dance with each note played. We served NOTTEBIANCA 2012 with a fresh cheese (Mato), quince jelly, toasted hazelnuts and caramelized sugar; 21VENTUNO 2012 paired with a delicious strawberry ice cream and fresh cherries; 3D3 2011 was best suited with a rich dark chocolate brownie with nuts and crisp orange; CA'VERNET 2011 was curiously but perfectly paired with an apple tart with Catania (cocoa-covered almonds). To round off the night Josep Maria delighted us with a beautiful Gin and tonic cocktail, the Gin being developed with inflorescences of grapes, perfectly in tune with the season of the vineyards; the cocktail was paired with a pannacotta with lime, cinnamon and apricot puree. All pairings were perfect and our guests enjoyed the night of the Summer Solstice.

Lastly we celebrated the master's touch of our friend Rafel: our own illuminated logo inaugurated on the 21th!
